Abstract: Described in the essay are the main activities concerning manufacture of the L245NSanti-SSC linepipe,including the chemical composition design,the trial manufacture with the rotary rolling process,checking of the geometric dimensions,mechanical properties,hardness and microstructure of the finished pipe.Moreover as the key point,the corrosion resistance of the product is analyzed.The production practice proves that the L240NS anti-SSC linepipe has been up to the applicable requirements as specified under Standard GB/T 9711—2017 due to such actions as properly increasing Mn content and decreasing C content,establishing appropriate control scheme for rolling temperature,and employing the rotary rolling process,etc.
