Abstract: The development of the welded pipe industry is going gradually from scaling and product mix enlarging towards product functionization,which is regarded as one of the approaches to the product marketization.Along with the trend of energy development and automobile lightweight,the weld pipe manufacturing technology is being led to develop towards specialization and multi-channelization by the requirements such as high strength,high workability,and functions suitable for extreme adverse environment conditions.And it is regarded that the future competition for the product technology will focus on the development and application of material,pipe welding,and pipe re-working technology,etc.
