Abstract: Based on the analysis of the service-oriented manufacturing cases of Vallourec and Tenaris,Their characteristics are summarized involving such aspects as providing customers with personalized services,providing“one-stop”overall solutions,maximizing the values,and further enhancing service-oriented manufacturing capabilities,etc.It is recommended to learn the practice of relevant international advanced steel pipe companies to provide customers with overall solutions,focus on the integration of manufacturing and service,and implement service-oriented manufacturing in the steel pipe industry in a bid to speed up the development of the industrial structure upgrade.
