    Development of High Strength and Toughness HSM960 Seamless Steel Tube for Heavy Crane Boom Service

    • 摘要: 介绍了超大吨位起重机臂架用高强韧性HSM960 无缝钢管的技术特点、生产工艺和质量情况。采用低碳多合金强化化学成分设计思路、MPM 连轧管机组轧管和调质热处理工艺生产的HSM960 无缝钢管,具有较高的强度和优异的塑韧性和抗低温冲击性能以及良好的焊接性能。该产品的成功开发满足了国内工程机械行业对超高强韧性钢管的需求。

       

      Abstract: Described here in the paper are the main aspects of the HSM960 seamless steel tube serving as the boom of the extra-heavy-duty crane,including the technical characteristics,the manufacturing process and the quality.The said seamless steel tube is produced by means of adapting the design idea of strengthening the chemical composition with low carbon and multi-alloys,rolling with the MPM,and quenching and tempering heat treatment process,and possesses rather high strength,excellent plastic toughness and low-temperature impact resistance,and good weldability.The successful development of the said product has met the demand for the high strength and toughness steel tube by domestic engineering machinery circles.
