Abstract:
Based on the MATLAB applied program design,the software for simulation of the seamless steel tube rotary piercing process is developed.Taking the billet and the product information as the basis,and using the theoretic calculation formula for the 2-roll rotary piercing mill,a user interface is designed for calculation of the key process parameters involved in the piercing process,including the plug,the guide shoe and the roll,etc.Thanks to the user interface,the parameterization design is realized.Moreover the user interface is not only friendly,simple and direct,but also convenient and flexible for inquiring and saving reports in the electronic form,being worth using as instruction for the design of the pipe production with the rotary piercing process.
