    Analysis of Cause for Crack of 25Cr Super Dual-phase Stainless Steel Pipe for Coupling-making as Occurring During Extrusion Process

    • 摘要: 分析了超级双相不锈钢25Cr在挤压时产生裂纹的原因;结合双相不锈钢热力学相平衡图,分析产生金属间化合物σ相的来源,进一步得出σ相是超级双相不锈钢25Cr棒材在挤压时产生裂纹的主要原因。通过棒料重新固溶以及优化挤压工艺,从而减少基体中的σ相,再次进行挤压试验,挤压后接箍荒管无裂纹,表面质量良好,能满足后续冷轧要求。

       

      Abstract: Analyzed here in the essay is the cause for the crack of the 25Cr super dual-phase stainless steel bar as occurring during the extrusion process. Based on the thermodynamic equilibrium diagram,the origin of the intermetallic compound σ phase is analyzed. Accordingly,it is concluded that it is just the said σ phase that acts as the main cause for occurrence of the above mentioned crack. Therefore the steel bar is subjected to solid solution again,and the extrusion process is optimized so as to reduce the σ phase in the matrix. Again the extrusion test is conducted. As a result,the tube after the extrusion presents no crack and has good surface quality,being satisfactory to the requirement for the subsequent cold-rolling process.
