基于机器视觉的张减管长度在线测量系统研制

    R&D of Machine Vision-based On-line Length-measurement System for Stretch-reduced Steel Pipe

    • 摘要: 在线钢管长度数据是提高无缝钢管质量和成材率的重要信息。张力减径管生产现场属于高温、高速、震动、粉尘等环境,在线测量管长难度大。研究了将机器视觉方法应用到张力减径管长度在线测量中,在线测长系统的架构以及系统运行过程,包括测量坐标系的建立和拍照方案的确定,抓拍时机的确定和拍照控制问题。介绍系统实际使用情况,并分析系统的稳定性。实际使用结果表明设计的系统达到了预定目标。

       

      Abstract: Online-measured length data of the steel tube is a piece of important information helpful for improving the quality and yield of the seamless steel tube production.It is rather difficult to perform online-length measurement of the seamless steel tube due to harsh working conditions of the stretch-reduced pipe production site such as high temperature,high speed,vibration,and dust.Studied here in the paper are the application of the machine vision method to the on-line length measurement of the stretch-reduced pipe,and the architecture and operation process of the on-line length measurement system,involving such aspects as establishment of the measurement coordinate system and determination of the photocapture timing and photographing control.Moreover the actual use of the system is described,and the stability of the system is analyzed.The actual application result shows that the system as designed has met the pre-set goal.
