双金属复合管热挤压过程数值模拟

    Numerical Simulation of Hot Extrusion Process for Dual-metal Clad Pipe

    • 摘要: 利用DEFORM-3D软件模拟了双金属复合管热挤压成形过程,分析了变形体内应力、应变的分布和大小及其与挤压温度、模具温度的对应关系。确定了最佳挤压温度在1 150~1 200℃;挤压前对模具进行预热有利于挤压过程的顺利进行;采用异温挤压时变形体内最大等效应力差减小,缩小了内外层金属的塑性流动差异,减小了压头、压尾的比例,有利于提高成材率。通过实际生产验证,模拟热挤压过程的计算结果与实测结果有较好的一致性。

       

      Abstract: The-extrusion process of dual-metal clad pipe is numerically simulated with the DEFORM-3D finite element software.Also analyzed are the distribution and size of the stress and strain in the deformed body and their corresponding relationship with the extrusion temperature and the die temperature.Moreover the optimal extrusion is determined as 1 150~1 200℃.Pre-heating of the die before hot-extrusion is helpful for a smooth extrusion operation.Thanks to the hetero-temperature extrusion technique,the maximum equivalent stress difference in the deformed body is reduced,and the plastic flow difference between the inner layer and the outer layer of metal is reduced so as the extruded head and extruded end proportion is reduced,resulting in enhancement of the yield.Through the actual production verification,the calculated result of the simulated hot extrusion process are in good agreement with the measured result.
