Abstract:
Addressing the problem of high energy consumption per ton of steel as staying with the rotary hearth furnace,the temperature of the billet as heated in the rotary hearth furnace is tracked and measured. And based on the measured data,the billet heating scheme,the billet distribution type and the combustion condition are optimized. The purpose of improving heating efficiency of the rotary hearth furnace and reducing the energy consumption per ton of steel is finally realized by means of optimizing the billet heating temperature and time,the before-rolling cooling scheme and the billet distribution type.
