Abstract:
Addressing the process characteristics of a certain domestic automatic oil casing production line, a manipulator for automatic casing screw-up/thread-protection operation is researched and developed, and a plan of modification for the automation of the screw-up/thread-protection operation is proposed. Focused on are the descriptions concerning the process flow, and the rotating clamp screw-up system and the intelligent vision system that are the core part of the plan.Thanks to implementation of the modification plan, the automatic casing-thread protection operation steps from pick-up to screw-up are realized so as to get the productivity enhanced, the labor cost reduced, and both the automation level and the intelligent level of the production line improved.
