Abstract: Analyzed here in the paper are the present situation and development trend of the global automotive industry, and also elaborated are the application of the precision steel tube to the automobile and relevant features.The international famous companies as engaged in the auto-serviced precision steel tube are described, focusing on studies of the tube size, the processes and the technical features.It is regarded via the analysis that the future development of the auto-serviced precision steel tube will aim at the production of the small-sized, heavy-walled HFW tube, and that the restriction as caused by such factors as the equipment capacity and process technology coordination should be broken through so as to realize the localization development of the auto-serviced small-sized, heavy-wall precision weld tube.
