高强高韧40CrMnMo无缝钢管缺陷问题分析和措施研究

    Analysis of Defects of High Strength/High Toughness 40CrMnMo Seamless Steel Pipe and Study on Relevant Countermeasures

    • 摘要: 针对40CrMnMo无缝钢管的两类质量问题,结合生产工艺,通过合金成分、夹杂物、缺陷特征检测,分析了产生原因,提出了解决措施。结果表明:第一类缺陷是钢管内表面的轧制直道,是轧制工具表面裂纹导致的轧折;第二类缺陷是管体上的裂纹,属于淬火冷却速度过快导致的淬火裂纹。通过提高轧制工具质量和优化淬火工艺,解决了产品的质量问题。

       

      Abstract: Aiming at the two types of defects as affecting the quality of the 40CrMnMo seamless steel pipe, the reasons for the defects are analyzed by means of testing the alloy composition, the inclusions and the characteristics of the defect based on the manufacturing process, and accordingly corrective measures are proposed.The results show that the first type of the defect is the straight line rolling imprint which is identified via the analysis as a kind of rolling fold caused by the surface cracks of the rolling tool;the second defect is the crack of the pipe body which is recognized as quenching crack caused by excessive quenching-cooling speed.Finally the above mentioned quality problem of the pipe is fixed by means of improving the quality of the rolling tool and optimizing the quenching process.
