Abstract:
To solve the shortcomings of manual transport of the steel pipe coupling such as low efficiency,high labor intensity and frequent damage of the coupling surface,a coupling-transport robot and relevant auxiliary devices are developed. The said robot-based coupling transport system deeply integrates the industrial robot technology,the hi-precision 3-D visual positioning technology and the intelligent recognition algorism so as to realize the high efficient and accurate transport of the coupling. Furthermore the robot system also adapts the advanced sensing technology and the dynamic adjustment strategy,therefore it is capable of accurately carrying out real-time monitoring the position and attitude of the coupling so as to guarantee the stability and safety of the transport process. Thanks to this new solution,not only the productivity is remarkably enhanced,but also the labor cost is reduced as well. And moreover the product consistence and stability is obviously improved owing to the accurate control of the transport process.
