不同角度钢管模拟裂纹缺陷的超声波检测技术研究

    Research on UT Technology for Simulated Steel Tube Crack Defects with Different Angles

    • 摘要: 分析钢管裂纹角度对裂纹超声波反射回波的影响规律。设计了不同裂纹角度的模拟钢管,测量不同角度缺陷的回波幅度和缺陷长度。结果表明,随着模拟裂纹缺陷与钢管轴向角度逐渐增加,缺陷回波幅度先迅速衰减后缓慢衰减,而后有所增加;随着缺陷角度增大,缺陷长度的测量误差增大;缺陷角度增大到45°以后,缺陷回波和底波接近,无法有效测量缺陷长度。因此,考虑到裂纹角度对超声波检测结果影响较大,企业应增加其他检测方法,减少对此类裂纹缺陷的漏检。

       

      Abstract: Analyzed here in paper is the regularity of the influence by the crack angle of the steel tube on the ultrasonic echo. Simulated steel tubes with different crack angles are designed so as to measure the echo amplitude and the defect length. As a result it is revealed that along with gradually increasing of the simulated crack defect angle and the axial angle of the steel tube,the defect echo amplitude first rapidly decays,and then continues,but slowly;after the defect angle increases up to 45°,the defect echo is close to the bottom wave,which makes it impossible to effectively measure the length of the defect. Therefore based on the fact that the crack angle obviously affects the UT result,the enterprise needs to adopts more other detecting methods to reduce the missed detection probability.
