Abstract: Based on the analysis of operation and maintenance of the cut-off machine, loading capacity of Y axis's ball screw pairs and material of ball screws, the author comes to the conclusion that the too low hardness of the ball screws is responsible for the weav-ness of easy wearing, thus the relevant improvements being proposed.
