Abstract:
With employment of the thermocompression test and thermal tensile test, the hot workability of the 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N dual phase stainless steel is studied, focusing on the hi-temperature deformation-resistance, hi-temperature plasti city and the quantity of austenitic phases during deformation in high temperature. The result shows that the hi-temperature deformation-resistance and hi-temperature plasticity of the said steel is lower than those of the 0Cr18Ni10Ti austen ite stainless steel, and that during deformation in the temperature range of 1,1 00~1,250 ℃, the quantity of austenitic phases can be controlled to a proper extent for the hot work so as to ensure better hot workability of the said dual phase stainless steel.
