Abstract:
Researched and developed is a flux leakage steel plate flaw detector that is designed and structured with the detection probe and the display component separately arranged. And data communication between the two independent parts is realized with the wireless transmission technology. Thanks to the magnetic circuit simulation and the experiment of the arrangement of the magnetic sensitive elements, the optimal magnetic field distribution, and the integration and layout of the magnetic sensitive elements are determined, and in turn the overall structure of the chassis of the detector is determined, too. With a wireless transmission module as mounted on the chassis, and via the wireless transmission technology, the original analog voltage signal is sent to the data reception-analysis module, and then owing to the cooperative processing via relevant software and hardware, the real-time waveforms are indicated on the display screen. Finally, the consistence and reliability of the flux-leakage detector are verified with a defect-bearing reference steel plate. The result shows that the said flux-leakage steel plate flaw detection system is capable of signal transmission with reliable quality, and is convenient for service in complex working environment. The signal-to-noise ratio as produced by this detector is not significantly different from that made by the conventional flux leakage detector.
