Abstract: It is a key factor and also an only way that the wall thickness of finished pipes is insured by determining the shell wall thickness in the diameter hot expanding process with drawing style mill becaese there is no restriction in the pass of process.Formulas for calculating the shell wall thickness are derived and a method for calculating the wall thickness is also obtained based on related theoretical analyses and actual measuring results.
