大直径厚壁螺旋缝埋弧焊管裂纹超声波探伤分析

    Ultrasonic Testing Analysis of Large Diameter Thick Wall SAWH Pipe Crack

    • 摘要: 介绍大直径厚壁螺旋缝埋弧焊管制造过程中裂纹产生原因、裂纹位置和取向特点,分析不同类型裂纹缺陷超声波检测回波特征。分析认为:厚壁螺旋缝焊管焊缝易出现结晶裂纹及应力撕裂裂纹缺陷。结晶裂纹作为一种在焊缝中分布较为规整的裂纹缺陷,在焊缝两侧超声波探伤采用奇偶次波对比就能准确定性;应力撕裂裂纹由于自身尺寸较小,需分析焊缝两侧一次波和二次波的超声波探伤波形,综合两侧缺陷探伤反射波幅才能准确对缺陷进行定位定量分析,因此对人员经验要求较高。

       

      Abstract: The causes, positions and orientations of the cracks appear in the manufacturing of large diameter thick wall SAWH pipes are introduced.The characteristics of the ultrasonic echoes of different types of cracks are analyzed.The analysis indicates that for thick wall SAWH pipe, the welds tend to show crystal cracks and stress cracks.Crystal cracks, distributing relatively even a weld, can be easily determined by comparing the odd and the even waves on both sides of the weld.Stress cracks are smaller, so only by analyzing the ultrasonic waveforms of the primary wave and the secondary wave from both sides of the weld, and taking into consideration the reflection amplitudes of both sides, can the defects be accurately positioned and quantified, which puts high requirements on the testing operator.
