Abstract: Summarized in the paper is the R & D aiming at localization of X56 submarine seamless steel linepipe.Also presented are the main aspects of the said R & D activities,including the concept and solution concerning design of microalloy steel grades,the production organization and process control tips,manufacturing steps and process flow as well as proposals for further improvement,etc.
