Abstract: The co-authors describe the main functions and types of large-size weld pipe expanding mills, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the mechanically-operated and hydraulically operated expanders, and express the opinion that the hydraulically-operated expander will be gradually replaced by the mechanically-operated one.
