Abstract: Based on the result of related metallographic structure analysis and the mechanism of formation of Widmannstatten structure,a discussion is made to investigate factors responsible for development of the Widmannstatten structural ferrite in low carbon steel tube and the effect thereby on mechanical properties of the tube.
