Abstract: Addressing the shortcomings of the conventional tube-measuring method with proximity switch or photoelectric switch,a new measuring system has been developed to perform indirect measurement of tube length. This system is in possession of such advantages as small floor occupation,high measurement accuracy and satisfactory operation effectiveness.
