Abstract: Introduced here in the article is a practical electronic measuring technique involving dimensionally measuring of seamless steel tubes with a resistance strain sensor and computerized data acquisition and processing. The said technique is easy-to-use and capable of providing high measurement accuracy to ensure timely tracing of quality information of each individual operation steps.
