Abstract:
The processes of piercing 32Mn6 steel CC billet under the three technological schedules i. e. on-line pipe-rolling with hot CC billets, off-line pipe-rolling with hot-charged& hot-transferred CC billets and off-line pipe-rolling with cold-charged& reheated CC billets were simulated with the Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator to investigate the structural and mechanical properties of the compressed samples under the said different technological schedules, the structural properties VS the said schedules and the feasibility for on-line pipe-rolling with hot-CC billets and off-line pipe-rolling with hot-charged CC billets.
