    Analysis of Causes for Fracture Failure of H13 Large Size Mandrel

    • 摘要: 观察Φ460 mm PQF连轧管机组H13大规格芯棒的宏观断裂形貌,分析其力学性能及显微组织,找出H13大规格芯棒断裂的原因。分析认为:H13芯棒在径向各位置的液析碳化物数量均较多,形状多呈长条状,且多个液析碳化物聚集呈链状分布,使材料韧性降低,造成芯棒断裂。

       

      Abstract: The causes for fracture of H13 large size mandrel are found out by observing the macromorphology of the fracture of a large size mandrel of a Φ460 mm PQF mandrel mill and analyzing the mandrel's mechanical properties and microstructure.The analysis indicates that there are quite a lot of liquation carbides on different radial positions.The liquation carbides are generally in strip shape and some of the aggregated ones are distributed in chain structure, so the toughness of the material is lowered and causes the mandrel to fracture.
