Abstract: The author analyses the main stress of the loaded hydraulic cylinder and discusses the importance of proper selection of the cylinder case material.Relevant operation practice has proven that the cylinder case made with hi-precision cold-drawn steel tube is in possession of such advangtages as better strength, rigidity and wear-resistance and hard inner surface and tough outer surface.The hi-precision cold-drawn steel tube is a perfect kind of material for making of various cylinder cases.
