轧辊局部爆裂的分析

    ANALYSIS OF PARTIAL CRACKING OF WORK ROLL

    • 摘要: 轧辊失效的形态有多种,如热处理硬度偏高和组织不良所引起的裂纹、崩裂等。轧辊硬度和金相组织均正常,但因含Ca、Si夹杂物而形成裂纹源,在使用过程中裂纹逐渐扩大,也会产生局部爆裂。分析了因Ca、Si夹杂物而导致的轧辊爆裂现象。

       

      Abstract: Functional failures of the work roll proper varies in forms, for instance, cracking and rupturing due to high hardness after heat treatment or unsatisfactory structure of the material. In addition, even in case of normal hardness and metallographic structure of the work roll, Ca and Si inclusions may form embryonic cracks, which may develop as the roll is being used and eventually cause partial cracking. An analysis regarding work roll cracking due to Ca and Si inclusions is given in the paper.
