Abstract: Based on the analysis of the outlines concerning the galvanized steel pipe mills imported since 1980, the paper points out that the existing capacity and technology of the domestically-made mills must be fully used first and the actual situation in Chinese factories considered prior to importing such mills in order to avoid wrongly and repeatedly importing.
