Abstract: Shengli Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.has installed a SC-NH1 spiral weld Pipe Laser auto-tracking system on its spiral weld pipe production line in a bid to materialize self-adaptive control and intelligent control during the dynamic welding process of spiral weld pipe to keep consistent welding operation so as to improve both the welding quality and the automation level of the operation line.Described here in the paper are the features, composition, working principle and process of the said tracking system.The operation practice of the system shows that it is very effective, having got the welding operation automated and intellectualized.
