Abstract: Based on the development and composition proportion rate of steel tube product mixes of such countries as Japan, the United States, South Korea and the former USSR at different historical stages, the author analyzes the main element responsible for the proportions of steel tubes, welded pipes, special steel tubes,cold-processed tubes and clad tubes, predicting the possible developing trend in this regard.
