Abstract: Elaborated in the paper are the main aspects of the CP950 large-scale NC hot spinning machine，including the spinning forming process for gas cylinder，the structural characteristics，and basic parameters of the manufacturing equipment.Thanks to employment of the twin-spinning wheel process and NC technology，the spinning machine is capable of both producing gas cylinders with high formation quality，and ensuring higher productivity.The highly integrated hydraulic system of the machine brings about less quantity of connecting pipes，and thus less leakage points.Moreover，owning to the good rigidity of mechanical structures of the machine proper，higher contour dimensional accuracy of the gas cylinder neck is obtained.Finally，the machine is equipped with a new clamping mechanisms that ensures higher equipment reliability.
