Abstract: The chemical elements of base metal and the weld seam of X100 UOE steel pipes and the rolling process of steel plate are investigated based on the mechanical properties and welding performances. The investigation shows that the X100 UOE pipe is of good strength, toughness and excellent welding performances, and meets the specific requirements for linepipes.
