Abstract: The loading state of the tube being cold-drawn is analyzed,metal deformations during tube cold-drawing operations with the tapered die and curved die are described,and the causes for surface longitudinal cracks of the cold-drawn tubes made with the two said dies and the negative influence thereby on the tube flattening property are analyzed in a comparative way.
