Abstract:
Adopting test method A and method D as specified under the specification NACE TM 0177-2005, research on SSCresistance of the 110 casing and tubing is carried out.The test results reveals the facts as follows.Method A is used to mainly investigate the relationship between the yield strength, the non-metallic inclusions, the metallographic microstructure and corrosion resistance. As a result, it is identified that high yield strength, serious non-metallic inclusions and non-homogeneity of the metallographic microstructure as a whole could lead to fracture of the specimen. And Method D is used to investigate the relationship between the yield strength and the
KISSC value, the balance wedge load
P and crack length
a.The test reveals that basically Value
KISSC and Value
P are inversely proportional to the yield strength, whereas the crack length
a is proportional to the yield strength.
