Abstract: Production of nickel-base corrosion-resistant alloy tubing and casing for hi-acidic gas field service involves complicated manufacturing steps, big technical difficulties and stringent quality criteria, etc.Comprehensively elaborated in the article are such aspects concerning production of the said pipes, including the research achievements in this field as made both at home and abroad, the commonly-used steel types for making of the pipes, and application conditions of the pipes.Also discussed are the key processes for producing/processing such pipes(i.e., alloy steel-making, pipe hot-extruding, solution heat treatment, pipe cold-rolling as further processing and pipe threading), and the predicted research area as well.
