Abstract: An analysis is made with the reliability design of the main link-plate of LB-20 mono-chain pipe cold drawing mill. As a result, it can be concluded that under the same conditions, with the said reliability design, the plate thickness will be leduced by 25% relative to the traditional design, hence a significant reduction of both equipment manufacture and operational costs.
