Abstract:
Dealt with in the paper are descriptions and analysis of the corrosion resistance,fracture resistance (CTOD),quality stability and quality assurance system of the marine-service HFW pipe. Also proposed are measures to improve the carrion resistance and quality stability of the said pipe’s weld seam as well the in-deep research orientation in this field. The analysis leads to such a conclusion that groove corrosion could be reduced by using strip steel with much lower S content,and that higher HIC resistance could be obtained by means of getting the welding seam undergo the heat treatment process of quenching + tempering.
