    Development of Large-sized and Heavy-walled S890 High Strength/Toughness Seamless Steel Tube for Hydraulic Cylinder Service

    • 摘要: 介绍S890大直径厚壁高强韧性液压油缸用无缝钢管的开发过程,并检测成品管的性能,分析其显微组织。研究结果表明:采用“电炉炼钢+LF+VD+周期轧管机组轧制+调质热处理”工艺开发出的S890大直径厚壁高强韧性液压油缸管,其各项性能指标均满足用户的设计要求,低温冲击韧性好,焊接性能优良,可以批量生产。

       

      Abstract: Elaborated here in the article is the development process of the large-sized and heavy-walled S890 high strength/toughness seamless steel tube for hydraulic cylinder service. The finished tube’s properties are tested,and its microstructure is analyzed. As a result,it is concluded that the said tube as developed with the“EF steel-melting+LF+VD+pilger mill rolling+quenching and tempering”process has all of its performance indexes up to the customer design requirements,including good low-temperature impact toughness and excellent weldability,being worth massive production.
