Abstract: The paper establishes the mathematical model for the relationship.between roll groove and rolling space of the crossrolling mill with roll axle fixed arbitrarily,which results in a mathematical equation of velocity profile on roll surface.The method can be applied to the design of the cross-rolling roll groove and the kinematic analysis and research of the rolling process.
