无缝钢管淬火裂纹产生原因及预防措施

    Analysis of Reasons for Quench-caused Crack of Seamless Steel Tube and Relevant Preventive Actions

    • 摘要: 根据无缝钢管制造工艺特点,结合宏观形貌及显微组织分析,认为无缝钢管淬火裂纹产生的原因主要为表面缺陷、应力开裂和表面增碳。分析不同淬火裂纹的形成机理,并提出相应的预防措施。分析认为:提高毛管表面质量,优化淬火工艺参数,提高钢坯成分均匀性等,可以有效减少无缝钢管淬火裂纹的产生。

       

      Abstract: Based on the characteristics of the manufacturing process for the seamless steel tube,the major reasons for the quench-caused crack of the tube is identified via analysis of both the macro-morphology and the microstructure of the tube, i.e., the surface defect, the stress-induced cracking, and surface carbon pick-up. And the development mechanism for different quench-caused cracks are analyzed, and accordingly the preventive action are proposed. The analysis also leads to such a conclusion that the occurrence rate of the quench-caused crack of the seamless steel tube is expected to be remarkably reduced by means of improving the as-rolled tube surface quality,optimizing the quenching process parameters,and enhancing the homogeneity of the billet,etc.
