Abstract:
An investigation is made into some product quality problems occurring in the original push-type tube hot-expanding operation, which are mainly caused by incorrectness of such elements as material selected, plug design, material temperature for hot-expanding and pushing speed, etc. Based on relevant experiment, statistics and research results, a more workable new process schedule with higher suitability and reliability is developed. Relevant application result shows that the said new process schedule is capable of contributing to improvement of product quality, enhancement of production as well as reduction of operation cost.
