    Processing Techniques for Special End-beveling of HFW Pipe

    • 摘要: 现有的管端倒棱设备无法满足HFW焊管37.5°特殊角度外坡口的倒棱要求。针对这一问题,提出以外坡口角刀杆上的选定点为基准点,改变刀片主切削刃的空间位置,使其与空间垂线的夹角由30°变为37.5°加以解决。经过生产现场的批量试车验证,该改进设计方案行之有效,可以满足对HFW管端特殊角坡口形状的倒棱要求。

       

      Abstract: To solve the problem that the pipe-end chamfering facilities as being used at present by the company are not capable of meeting the requirement for processing the special 37.5° bevel angle of the HFW pipe, a technological measure is proposed, i. e., taking the point as selected on the bar of the outer bevel cutter as the reference point so as to change the space position of the cutter blade's major cutting edge to turn the angle between it and the spacious perpendicular line from the original 30° into 37.5°. The result of the workshop trail massive production has proved that the modification design proposal as implemented is so effective that the requirement for processing special end bevel profile of the HFW pipe is satisfied.
