Abstract: The author presents audience a general description regarding different processes employed both at home and abroad for making the surface oxide film of piercer plug and a comparison between them, based on which a conclusion is made that among those compared the atmosphere-control-ling technique and ionization-oxdizing technique are the beat processes in terms of comprehensive technological effect.
