Abstract: The structure of and inherent problems with the convenient centering roll of piercing machine are described, while the structures and movement principles of two new type centering rolls are introduced here in the article. Relevant operations demonstrate such advantages of the said two new centering rolls as higher accuracy, longer service span, simpler maintenance and adjustment as well as less spare parts consumption.
