采用工艺自动控制提高无缝钢管壁厚精度

    Employment of Process Auto-control to Improve Wall Thickness Tolerance of Seamless Steel Tube

    • 摘要: 介绍了国外对无缝钢管纵向壁厚精度和横向壁厚精度的试验研究情况,以及壁厚控制系统(ECS)在轧管厂的应用。针对由斜轧穿孔机、全浮动芯棒连轧管机、张力减径机组成的轧管工艺,指出应将张力减径切头控制技术(CEC)与管端轧薄工艺(FTS)结合。并指明当今对轧管工艺的研发应从工艺技术本身和自动控制软件包两个方面着手。

       

      Abstract: Described in the article are the experimental researches on both longitudinal and transverse wall thickness tolerances of the seamless steel tube as made overseas,and application of the tube Eccentricity Control System(ECS)in foreign pipe-rolling plants.Addressing the pipe-rolling process consisting of rotary piercing mill,full-floating mandrel mill and stretch reducing mill,it is pointed out that both the Crop End Control(CEC)technique of the stretch reducing mill and the Front-Tail Sharpening(FTS)process should be jointly employed.It is also emphasized that at present the R & D of tube-rolling technology should focus on the process technology itself and the auto-control software packages.
