Abstract: The co-authors describe the features and application requirements with respect to the on-line normalization process for hot-rolled seamless steel tubes,compared with the conventional processes in this regard, the said normalization process features such advantages as technological simplicity, less investmont in equipment, less energy consumption and so forth. The process is applicable for certain pipe rolling processes, for instance, mandrel mill and plug mill lines.
