Abstract: the stress in the deformation zone of pipe sinking drawing with double dies is analysed, and the wall thickness of the pipes produced respectively with single die or double are measured. The practice shows that the wall-thickness variation of pipes produced with double dies are lower and the wall reductions are larger than those produced with single die.
