Abstract:
To solve the roll groove displacement problem as occurring during quick roll change-over process of the three-roll sizing mill,based on analysis of roll stand frame structure characteristics and causes for roll groove displacement of such type of sizing mill,relevant preventative methods and measures are put forward. Specifically speaking, the groove displacement problem could be properly prevented by means of controlling the tolerances of each individual component of the roll to ensure that the clearance value falls within the specified range during clearance fitting between the roll stands,and minimizing deviation of the groove center location.
