Abstract:
By analyzing the deformation characteristics of a metal being rolled by an Assel rolling mill,the rolling process is divided into 2 parts,i.e.diameter reducing part and wall reducing part,so as to establish its mathematic model.And based on this mathematic model,the rolling forces and rolling torques for different steel grades are calculated and compared with actual measurements to verify the accuracy of the model.Furthermore,basing on this mathematic model,a dedicated force-energy calculation software for Assel rolling mill is compiled using Matlab software.
